Placement
It hangs behind you, so the ceiling in front is free
The EYE XR mounts overhead behind the golfer rather than in front. Carl’s Place publishes an ideal room of 10′H × 14′W × 18′D: the sensor 9–10.5 ft above the ground, 3.5 ft behind the tee, a 14 ft swing area, 7 ft behind the tee and 12 ft from tee to screen. Because it sits behind the swing, a shanked ball never reaches it.
- Body. 22.4″ L × 3.9″ W × 3.1″ H, 4.9″ with the bracket; 5.8 lb plus a 2.3 lb bracket (Uneekor product page and manual).
- Hitting zone. 11.8″ long × 13.7″ wide (Uneekor product page; Uneekor’s compare page gives 14″ × 12″, and the product page is used here).
- Handedness. Uneekor: overhead units serve left- and right-handed golfers without moving; handedness is set in the player profile.
- Computer. A Windows PC is required, to Uneekor’s published specification, connected by Ethernet.
