PIG-UNEK-EYEXO2

Uneekor’s three-camera overhead launch monitor, supplied through Carl’s Place. It hangs from the ceiling ahead of the tee and photographs the club and the ball at impact — 24 data points on unmarked balls, from a 28 × 21-inch hitting zone. It is the launch monitor in the Clear-Floor Build, and the one component in that build that asks something of your ceiling. Two-year Uneekor warranty.

Placement

Where it hangs decides whether it fits

The EYE XO2 mounts to the ceiling, not the floor, so the ceiling is the first thing to check. Carl’s Place publishes the bracket at 9 to 10 feet above the hitting surface and 3.5 feet in front of the tee; with a golfer 10 to 12 feet from the screen, that leaves the unit at least 6.5 feet from the impact screen. Uneekor’s own room recommendation is 13 ft wide, 16 ft deep and 10 ft high, with 10 ft named as the optimal ceiling. Where the two differ, the Space Calculator takes the larger figure and names the vendor that set it.

  • Ceiling. 9–10 ft from the hitting surface to the bracket — every inch of mat under the ball is an inch of ceiling the unit needs.
  • Position. 3.5 ft in front of the tee, centered on the target line.
  • Swing area. Carl’s recommends a 14-foot diameter centered in the bay.
  • Hitting zone. 28″ long × 21″ wide, per Uneekor and Carl’s.
  • Body. 2.5″ tall; the bracket adds 1.8″. Whether the 9–10 ft is measured to the sensor face or the top of the assembly is not published, and the calculator carries that as a stated tolerance.

Placement figures are Carl’s Place’s published space requirements for this unit and Uneekor’s product page; the software titles are from Uneekor’s software-and-memberships page. Enter your room in the Space Calculator and it will tell you whether the ceiling clears it.

What it measures

Three cameras, unmarked balls, the club face included

What separates an overhead camera unit from a side-placed one is not accuracy — it is what it can see, and from where.

Ball and club at impact

Three high-speed cameras look straight down on the strike and record the ball’s speed, launch and spin and the club’s path, face and speed — 24 data points in Uneekor’s count. No stickers on the ball; club stickers are supplied for club data.

A hitting zone you do not have to find

Uneekor publishes a 28 × 21-inch zone. The ball can sit anywhere inside it, which is what makes a centered mat serve a right- and a left-handed golfer without moving anything.

Software — in the box, and compatible

Uneekor ships the unit with its Player Package, a three-month trial of its Ultimate package and a year of AI Trainer. Uneekor lists GSPro, E6 Connect, TGC 2019 and Creative Golf as the third-party titles its launch monitors run, through Uneekor Launcher with a Pro, Champion or Ultimate membership; each title is licensed from its publisher.

Whose numbers these are

Precision does not manufacture this unit and does not test it. Every figure on this page is Uneekor’s or Carl’s Place’s, quoted from their published pages, and the one figure neither publishes — how far below the ceiling the bracket’s measurement is taken — is stated as unknown rather than guessed.

The ceiling decides this unit before anything else does.

Does your ceiling clear it?

Enter the room at its lowest point and the Space Calculator will place the bracket, the projector and the enclosure and tell you what is left. If it is close, a consultation walks the numbers with you.
