What it does
Level with the ball
A radar unit behind the golfer measures from where it sits. If it sits an inch and three-quarters below the ball, every number starts from the wrong place.
For radar units
FlightScope’s Mevo Gen2 and X3C sit 8 feet or more behind the ball. Carl’s strip raises them to mat height, which Carl’s names as the placement that gives the most precise data.
Or more green
Eight feet of extra surface at the same height, in Carl’s words for extending the putting surface or for whatever the practice session needs.
The figures
8′ × 1′ × 1¾″; 14 lb. All Carl’s.
