What it does
The bay, extended
An enclosure protects the room in front of the golfer. The extensions take that protection back along the swing.
Three depths
6, 8 or 10 feet, per Carl’s — the depth you need behind the enclosure for the room you have. Every wall is 92 inches tall.
A pair, one each side
Carl’s sells them as a set of two. They hang from the enclosure frame and stand on their own sandbags, so nothing is screwed to the room.
Depth, not width
The extensions add length to the bay, not width — the room’s own walls still set the swing width Carl’s publishes for the enclosure. The Space Calculator carries their depth as a note on the plan.
