What Is In The Box
Three parts, and one you buy yourself
Carl’s ships this as a kit rather than a product, and the distinction matters at the point of purchase. Here is what arrives, and what does not.
The Impact Screen
Your chosen material, cut and finished to the opening you selected. Carl’s rates the range to 250 mph impact.
The BlackStop Surround and Fittings
The BlackStop™ perimeter wraps the screen and blocks the light that would otherwise leak around its edges. That is what makes a projected image read as a picture rather than a bright rectangle in a gray room. Steel corner fittings and zip ties are in the box.
The Frame You Supply
1-inch EMT conduit is not in this kit. Carl’s expects you to buy it locally and cut it to their dimensions. If you would rather not measure, cut and deburr steel tubing on a Saturday, the Pipe Framing option adds Carl’s own pre-cut, powder-coated EMT sized to the enclosure you selected — you cannot order the wrong length, because you do not choose it.
